Defenders For Hope is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assisting families who are experiencing domestic violence, homelessness or mental health problems. They have been providing a helping hand to those in need for over 5 years, and developed a variety of programs through that time. They aim to help stop all forms of domestic violence by increasing community awareness and shaping public policy.

Some Of Their Programs:

• Defender Support Packs - Providing packs containing essentials and immediate needs for children, young adults and families who are homeless or escaping domestic violence situations
• Van For Nan - Refurbishing old vans and gifting them to homeless women over 60, to ensure they have a place they can call home that is comfortable and safe
• Op Shops - Op shops owned by Defenders For Hope that provide affordable goods, with profits going towards supporting families in need

Defenders For Hope ensures that nobody is turned away, with everyone who needs assistance receiving it. Along with their many programs, they also run the Defenders Soul Kitchen, which provides delicious, high-quality meals to anyone and everyone, regardless of whether they can pay or not.
